100 %
Sales reliability · 3 reliable sales out of 3 (rate weighted by price) A sale is reliable when what is missing from your data leaves its gain known to within 1 € (the tolerance). The rate is the share of the year’s reliable sales, weighted by their net sale price (line 218); a withdrawal awaiting qualification counts as an unreliable sale. If a sale’s price is unknown, the rate is counted in number of sales.
100 %
Income valued · 12 receipts out of 12 The share of the year’s income (staking, interest, savings, rewards, airdrops) whose value in euros on the day of receipt is known, counted in receipts. This income is declared: you need 100 % to report an exact total. Missing prices are looked up when the page opens, and every night.
The year 2025
Tax for the year: 59 €, certain Both bounds coincide: whatever is still missing from your data, this is the year’s tax.
- Total sale prices (line 51) The €305 allowance applies to the sum of the year’s sale prices, not to the gain (French tax code, art. 150 VH bis, II-B). Form 2086 adds up prices net of fees (line 51 = sum of lines 218); impots.gouv.fr speaks of the “gross annual amount of sales”. To be cautious, the simulator uses the gross amount, which crosses the threshold sooner.
- 2,120 € — above €305: taxable
- Net gain for the year All sales included, reliable or not, plus possible sales (withdrawals awaiting qualification). The year’s actual gain lies in this range, subject to the approximations listed at the bottom of the page.
computed from known data: 187 €
The total of gains and losses (line 52 of form 2086) goes in box 3AN (gain) or 3BN (loss) of return 2042 C. A loss only offsets gains of the same year and is not carried forward. - between 187 € and 187 €
- Rate (flat tax) 12.8% income tax (French tax code, art. 200 C) and social charges of 17.2% up to sales made in 2024, 18.6% from those made in 2025 (law no. 2025-1403, 2026 social security financing act, art. 12). The current year’s rate is provisional. The option for the progressive scale (box 3CN) is not simulated.

The year’s sales
3 sales
The numbers are those of the lines of form 2086; the gain on a sale is l.218 − l.223 × l.217 / l.212. A sale that is not reliable stays listed, outside the totals.

Assumptions and their effect
1 reading changes the tax
Four points the official guidance does not settle. Each is computed with the reading used and with the other one: here is what it changes to your 2025 tax.
-
Rewards (staking, interest, airdrops)
No guidance sets the acquisition price of a staking reward or an airdrop for form 2086. The official commentary deems an asset whose cost cannot be justified to have been acquired for nothing (BOI-RPPM-PVBMC-30-20, § 90); a reward taxed as income when received could enter at its value that day. A zero price makes you pay more: it is the default reading.
Reading used: zero acquisition price. Other reading: value on the day received. This choice changes nothing for you in 2025 (tax difference, computed from known data: -5 €). On your data, the reading that makes you pay the most: zero acquisition price. -
Nexo EURX
EURX represents euros held at Nexo. No text addresses it; Crypto Master files it among tokens. As a “digital asset”, buying it with euros is an acquisition and selling it a sale; as “currency”, these are exchanges, and a crypto sold for EURX is a sale.
Reading used: digital asset. Other reading: currency (euro). This choice changes nothing for you in 2025 (tax difference, computed from known data: 0 €). -
Stablecoins
The law defers tax on exchanges without balancing payment between digital assets (French tax code, art. 150 VH bis, II-A). Neither the official commentary nor the form’s notice treats stablecoins separately: swapping them for another crypto is therefore read as a deferred exchange. The other reading — electronic money tokens under MiCA, treated as currency — turns each of these exchanges into a sale.
Reading used: digital assets, deferred exchanges. Other reading: currency, taxable exchanges. Point to have checked by a professional: 2025 tax of 59 € with the reading used, 94 € with the other. On your data, the reading that makes you pay the most: currency, taxable exchanges. -
Basis of the €305 allowance
The allowance applies to the sum of the year’s sale prices (French tax code, art. 150 VH bis, II-B). The form adds up prices net of fees (line 51); impots.gouv.fr speaks of the “gross annual amount of sales”. The gross amount crosses the threshold sooner: it is the cautious reading.
Reading used: gross prices. Other reading: prices net of fees (line 218). This choice changes nothing for you in 2025 (tax difference, computed from known data: 0 €).

Income received in 2025
12 receipts · 51 €
What you received in 2025 without buying it — staking, savings rewards and interest, airdrops, referral rewards — valued in euros on the day of each receipt. Crypto Master puts figures on it and does not decide: this is neither an amount to declare nor a tax, and the tax treatment of this income is not chosen for you (what the tax authority says is below).
Received in 2025: 51 € Each receipt is valued at the closing price of the day it happened (UTC day), converted at the same day’s euro/dollar rate — or at the price the exchange reported, when it reported one. A token pegged to the dollar is worth one dollar. These are the simulator’s own readings: these amounts are what its “value on the day received” reading adds to the acquisition price. A value that no price can give is called unknown, never counted as zero.

Which tax treatment? What the tax authority says
For staking, impots.gouv.fr states that profits from mining or staking activities are taxed in the category of non-commercial profits (BNC) — on its page on how to declare gains and losses on digital assets, updated on 17 July 2026, under “You sell in a professional capacity”. The page does not say whether these BNC are professional or non-professional, and cites neither a statute nor the BOFiP. For savings interest, airdrops and referral rewards, none of the official sources Crypto Master read sets the tax treatment. Ranking them as non-professional BNC is the most widespread analysis — an analysis, not a rule — and Crypto Master does not choose for you.
If you treat them that way, the amount goes on the supplementary return 2042-C-PRO, section “Revenus non commerciaux non professionnels”: box 5KU (5LU for declarant 2) under the special declarative or micro-BNC regime — “Revenus imposables”, to be entered as gross receipts, without deducting any allowance —, or box 5JG (5RF for declarant 2) under the controlled-declaration regime, “Revenus imposables cas général”. Boxes read on 10/10/2026 on the 2042-C-PRO form of the 2026 return (income of 2025, no. 11222*28): re-check them on the form of the year you file.
The form also asks you to carry this net income — after the flat 34% allowance under micro-BNC — to box 5HY (5IY for declarant 2), for social contributions, when it is not subject to contributions collected by URSSAF.
In form 2086, this same income is the subject of the “Rewards” assumption (see the assumptions): the current reading is “zero acquisition price”. Its “value on the day received” reading counts this income, at these values, in the acquisition price; the “zero acquisition price” reading is the cautious one. The two are read together.
NFTs are not in this computation. Crypto Master lists those of your Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and Solana wallets on each account’s page, without valuing them: their acquisitions and sales enter neither the acquisition price, nor the overall portfolio value, nor the capital gains of this simulator. Since 01/01/2026, the sale of an NFT falls under article 150 VH ter of the French tax code — the regime of the asset it represents, not that of form 2086 — and is declared separately.
Annual income statement An Aave loan does not record its interest: it is inside the withdrawal amount. The statement takes what the DeFi page measures, at withdrawal, and counts none of it twice — a yield your accounts already record (cUSDCv3, stLINK, stETH) is not repeated. Accrued interest on an open position is not included. Exception: for cUSDCv3, stLINK and stETH, the yield of a position still open is read on-chain at most every seven days and appears among the recorded income.
One total per year, to carry over without recalculating anything: the income your accounts record (staking, savings, interest, airdrops) plus the DeFi lending interest realised, each in euros on the day of receipt. The PDF gives the total and its breakdown; the CSV gives every line.
- 2026 23.67 € of recorded income 23.67 € Statement 2026 (PDF) Detail 2026 (CSV)
- 2025 51.46 € of recorded income · 38.21 € of DeFi interest realised 89.68 € Statement 2025 (PDF) Detail 2025 (CSV)
- 2024 46.44 € of recorded income 46.44 € Statement 2024 (PDF) Detail 2024 (CSV)
What the computation assumes
- The overall value is that of the portfolio Crypto Master knows. The law asks for all the household’s digital assets, wherever they are held: an unlinked account or another household member is missing from it.
- Assets are valued at the closing price of the day of the sale. The tax authority accepts a daily average quote; the close approximates it.
- The day of a sale, and so its year, is taken in universal time (UTC): a sale on 1 January before 1 am Paris time is filed under 31 December, so in the previous year. Check any sale made around the turn of the year.
- The portfolio is taken at the day’s close, corrected for trades and sales made after the sale; other movements of the same day (transfers, rewards) are taken at the close.
- A dollar-backed token (USDC, USDT…) with no price that day counts as one dollar.
- A lending receipt (Aave aToken, Compound cUSDCv3) with no price that day counts at the price of its underlying: it is worth it one for one. A vault share does not.
- Tokens received without being requested are left out of the overall value: no market quotes them.
- An exchange between digital assets, stablecoins included, is treated as tax-deferred. No guidance treats stablecoins separately: this is an interpretation.
- Purchase fees paid in euros or dollars are added to the acquisition price; fees paid in crypto are not. No text explicitly addresses these fees.
- A negative balance — an entry is missing from the history — worth less than €2 that day (at the day’s price, or at its upper bound) counts as zero in the overall value. Above that, or with no price or bound to judge it, it stays an unknown.
- Rewards (staking, interest, airdrops) enter at a zero acquisition price: the cautious choice, as no guidance settles it.
- Not simulated: the option for the progressive scale, the high-income contribution, NFTs (sales from 2026), sales by other household members.
